First printing of the new preface and first book edition of the heavily revised versions of "The Countess Cathleen" & "The Land of Hearts Desire", and minor alterations to "The Wandering of Usheen". A very clean, bright copy in a fine early binding by Truslove and Hanson of London. Half vellum with Dark green morocco label to spine, lettered and ruled in gilt. Decorative elongated floral design in gilt, with red and green highlighting, to spine,in the Arts and Crafts Style. Green cloth on boards. Top edge gilt. Marbled endpapers. A fine copy with the original front board and spine, with gilt decoration, designed by T.Sturge Moore, bound in at the back of the book.
