	1 BIBLE. 1608 "JUDAS" BIBLE.; . THE BIBLE. That is, The Holy Scriptures conteined in the Old and New Testament. Translated according to the Ebrew and Greeke, and conferred with the best Translations in divers languages.With most profitable Annotations upon all hard places, and other things of great importance. Imprinted at London by Robert Barker, Printer to the Kings most Excellent Majistie.,1608  FIRST PRINTING OF THE "JUDAS" BIBLE. Large 8vo. (8.7 x 6.6 inches). Text in double column with red ruled borders. (6), 190, (1), 197, (1), 121, 22pp Index (A briefe Table of the interpretation of the proper names....). Complete copy. Fully illustrated title pages to Old and New Testaments. Decorative seperate title page for second part of the Old Testament. Fine wood cut engravings throughout the text, including a view of the Garden of Eden and an interesting half page map showing the Israelites route from Egypt, through Arabia, and into Canaan. Good margins to all pages. 3 leaves have small tears to the margin, not affecting the text, otherwise a very good bright copy. There are some neat markings in blank ink to some margins. Early brown calf boards with single gilt ruled borders. Re-spined in the 19th century with brown calf, ruled bands, gilt lettering. The binding is rubbed and bumped to the edges and hinges but still firm. 19th century Marbled endpapers.
