Decorative flower and leaf design to the top and bottom of both boards and a single gilt ruled border to the centre. Board edges with gilt ruling. Spine with five raised bands. The compartments with gilt ruled lines, flower and leaf designs and lettering. Triple gilt ruled lines to the turn-ins. Marbled endpapers. All edges gilt. Previous owners neat inscription, dated 1867, to the half title page. A lovely copy in a beautiful Victorian decorative leather binding. The binding is unsigned but the work of a skilled bookbinder.
