A fine copy throughout that looks like it has never been read. Publishers dark blue cloth binding with blind ruling and lettering to front board. Spine blind ruled to the top and bottom and lettered in gilt. A hint of rubbing to the extremities but overall a fine, tight and fresh copy in much better condition than usually found, the corners still sharp and the gilt on the spine still bright and sharp and the text pages bright and clean. A superior copy. ---- Issued as the final volume of Churchill's history of the First World war, the first five volumes being published between 1923 and 1929, The Eastern Front had a smaller print run than the earlier volumes and is consequently harder to find, particularly in such nice condition.
