FIVE VOLUMES in LEATHER BOX. 16mo. Books measure 4.4 x 2.9 inches. Fine copies in publishers dark brown limp leather bindings. Curved board corners. Spines and boards ruled and lettered in gilt. Gold on brown floral patterned endpapers. All edges gilt. Each volume with a thin silk page marker. Housed in Publishers original brown morocco box with gilt ruling and lettering to the top panel. The inside of the box is lined with navy blue silk. The contents of each volume is lettered in gilt inside the top of the box. A leather tab on the front drops over a stud and the box is then sealed with a sprung snap-shut metal clasp, decorated with a floral design. A tiny bit of wear to the box but it has kept the books in fine condition and overall the whole is a very pleasing piece of book production in superior condition.
