Beautiful contemporary binding of full tree calf. Spine with multiple ruled lines and decorated in gilt. Two red and green labels, gilt. Board edges with line and dot design in gilt. A bright clean copy in an attractive late eighteenth century binding with a little rubbing to the edges but overall in near fine condition. --- Originally published in 1758, Henrietta is an interesting commentary about the lives, and how much control they were allowed over their own destinies, of women in 18th century society. It is a scarce title in any 18th century edition.
