Printed by S. Collingwood, for J. Parker. Oxford. 1830-32-35.
FIRST ARNOLD EDITION. 3 volumes. 8vo. (8.5 x 5.6 inches). Volume one with 3 fold out maps and plans, volume two with 5, and volume three with 3, all at the end of the volumes. Greek text with the notes in English. A couple of creased page edges in volume one, otherwise clean and tight copies in fine contemporary full dark purple calf bindings. Spines with raised bands, each decorated with gilt piping. Compartments double ruled, elaborately decorated, and lettered in gilt. Five lined rule borders around small lattice tooling to the whole boards. Plain white endpapers. Some minor rubbing to the extremities and the corners a little bumped. A few small abrasions to the boards but generally a nice and attractively bound set that looks great on the shelf.
