NP. 1976, 1976.
Unpublished children's illustrated book mock up with original colour artwork. The book is complete amd consists of 33 loose pages, each with a number label to the rear. The pages measure 8 x 8 inches and aside from the one full colour original watercolour are printed mono illustrations, most likely printers proofs, with the printed text pasted on. There is one original full colour watercolour painting, which is page 11, on stiff board with a tissue paper guard. Some pages with a little toning to the margins but overall very good condition throughout. I can find no record of this book ever being published, despite this appearing to be a proof for a printer. An attractive item, the tale Moumis who, under a spell falls in love with the first thing he sees, the moon. With the help of Nam-Tso-Shumo, the ancient one, Moumis sets off on a quest to find seven coloured stones and return with them by the seventh moon to break the spell and allow his love to transfer to his female feline friend Dawa.
