Rare single leaf bulletin published in February 1965 and includes Stephen Spender "In Memoriam T. S. Eliot" & Ted Hughes writing about Plath and her writing process for the poems in ARIEL. "...while she was almost fully occupied with children and house-keeping, she underwent a poetic development that has hardly any equal on record, for suddeness and completeness". Single A4 leaf printed both sides. Crease through the middle where it has been folded. Edges a little rubbed. Overall in very good condition. The front side contains a box advert for ARIEL, listing it as the Poetry Book Society Spring choice, Published by Faber at 12s.6d. "Ariel is not easy poetry to criticise. It is not much like any other poetry. It is her.". A scarce item which pre-dates the publication of ARIEL which was issued on 11th March 1965. Sagar and Tabor: C168.
