A very good copy in publishers blue cloth, lettered in yellow.In the rare original dustwrapper which has a couple of repaired tears and some creasing to the edges but is overall in very good condition. The book has 8 mono plates and also 7 flip book style films, drawn by Dr. Otto Koenigsberger. These are in the margins of the pages and when flipped through show various processes including the motion of the Electron in the Hydrogen atom and the scattering of a-particles. Like many of Borns works this is written for the layman and manages to explain complex theories in a straight forward and understandable language.:.
