Light foxing throughout but still a nice tight copy in the publishers dark blue cloth with unusual green and light blue design and gilt lettering to front board and spine. The cloth and gilt are fine and bright. The book looks unread and while it has sufered from some foxing is fine externally. A lovely copy of this Rare Mystery novel. Gallon died in 1914 but many of his stories lived on when they were later filmed by the early Hollywood studios thgrough the 1910's and 1920's. Hubin: Dictionary of Crime Fiction. P.161.
