EARLY EDITION. 4to. (10.2 x 7.4 inches). Originally published in 1868. Illustrated with tinted frontis and fifteen colour lithographic prints, each with a printed tissue guard. Publishers dark green cloth with gilt and black decoration to the front board and gilt lettering to the spine. Binding by Burn and Co, with their ticket stuck into the rear of the book, although the label has a small area of loss above the name. The book has been neatly re-cased. Previous owners neat name on front free endpaper. Some minor marking to a few pages but overall a very good copy of this attractive book.
