A fine copy in illustrated paper covers. Churchill's second volume of Autobiographical writings, his only other being My Early Life (published in 1930), originally published in 1932. This edition has an introduction and annotations by James W. Muller, academic Chairman of the Churchill Centre and professor of political science at the University of Alaska. With the posthumous ex libris bookplate of Churchill's daughter, Mary Soames mounted onto the inner front board.
