FIRST EDITION. Large 8vo. (10 x7.7 inches). Illustrated with 9 mono photographic plates and 18 folding maps in a pocket at the rear of the book. Complete. Publishers red cloth with gilt lettering to the front board and spine. The spine has been repaired to the lower hinge and both inner hinges have been strengthened with paper inserts making the book tight in the binding. Spine a little faded and the edges rubbed but overall a near to very good copy.
