Welcome to the home of Paul Foster Books. Selling rare, antiquarian, interesting and vintage books since 1990.

2020 marks my 30th year of bookselling. From running books to other dealers, a stall in Portobello Market, shops in Barnes and East Sheen in South west London and now dealing from home, it has been a fun and interesting journey. I have exhibited at hundreds of bookfairs, in England, Ireland, Canada, Hong Kong and several cities in USA and issued dozens of catalogues. I have handled very many beautiful and rare books and met lots of great people. A new catalogue is planned for the spring. If you are not already on the mailing list and would like to receive a copy, please contact me at;  paulfosterbooks@btinternet.com .

We will be moving premises soon, and as we try to lessen the load of moving thousands of books we have decided to have a sale on our website:
All items are reduced by 20% and shipping is still free.

Please take the time to search or browse my inventory of Antiquarian, out of print, used, and rare books. I carry a stock of Rare First editions of all ages as well as early, interesting and unusual collectable books relating to most subjects and many fine leather bound editions. If you can't find what you like please fill out the off-line search form and I will search through my off-line inventory, other bookstores and book search services for you.

A rare or beautiful vintage book makes a great gift, whether it is a First edition of somebody's favourite book, as an adult or child, or a rare title relating to a foriegn land visited, a hobby, job or interest. If you are looking for that special present for a Birthday, Wedding, Anniversary, Christening, Christmas, Retirement, or any other special occasion please feel free to contact me and I will help you to find the ideal book for the recipient. If you have any questions, or would like more details about anything that you have seen listed on the website, please contact me at paulfosterbooks@btinternet.com and I will do my best to help you.
