We would like to reassure our American customers that all of the items we sell remain tariff free. The Antiquarian Booksellers Association in the UK has recently issued this guidance:
As of April 4, 2025, U.S. Customs and Border Protection has just released Guidance 64649265confirming that “Informational materials” are exempt from Executive Order, “Regulating Imports with a Reciprocal Tariff to Rectify Trade Practices that Contribute to Large and Persistent Annual United States Goods Trade Deficits,” issued on April 2, 2025 (CSMS # 64649265, 9903.01.31). The definition of informational material includes books, maps, photography and artwork.
Please take the time to search or browse my inventory of Antiquarian, out of print, used, and rare books. I carry a stock of Rare First editions of all ages as well as early, interesting and unusual collectable books relating to most subjects and many fine leather bound editions.
