Title, 285pp. Occasional light foxing to some leaves but generally a very good copy in contemporary full dark brown calf bindings. Spines with gilt ruled lines. Red morocco title labels and black circular number pieces. The number piece to Volume one is missing. Front hinge of volumes one and two are cracked but still holding. The board edges of all four volumes are rubbed and the spines darkened. Neat previous owner name, dated 1885, on the blank free endpapers of 3 of the volumes. Overall a good set of this uncommon Edinburgh printing.
