Fully illustrated throughout with colour plates of views of the Holy Land by R. Talbot Kelly, J. Fulleylove, and others. Fine publishers leather bindings, by Cedric Chivers Bookbinders of bath, of full brown morocco with Line and box design to both boards and spines. Gilt lettering to spines. Top edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. Some loss to the very corner of the pages in volume three, but well away from the text. Overall a lovely, highly decorative set. --- Herbert. A.
