Fifth edition. 8vo. (7.3 x 5 inches). A neat inscription from the author on a front blank endpaper which reads, 'To Mrs Gower from F. Anstey in remembrance of a very pleasant stay at 'Brook View', Pulborough 31 May - 3 July 1911' . A very good copy in contemporary quarter blue morocco leather binding with blue cloth boards. Brown title label, ruled and lettered in gilt, and double gilt ruled lines to the top and tail of the spine. Previous owner small ex-libris labels to the front and rear endpapers. A little rubbing to the edges but overall a very good copy. --- F. Anstey was the pseudonym of Thomas Anstey Guthrie (1856-1934).
