Circular gilt stamp of King Henry VIII's School, Abergavenny on the front board. Marbled endpapers. Top edge gilt. A few small scratches to the leather but overall this is still a very attractive early leather binding. --- Issued by Penguin in London using the American printed sheets. Although the text pages conform to item E180, published in New York in 1933, in David Gilson's Bibliography of Jane Austen, he doesn't list this British Penguin Books variant.
