16mo. (3.5 x 2.3 inches). 124pp, 4pp of publishers adverts. A very good copy in publishers white gloss paper covered boards with fawn cloth spine. The front board is lettered in gilt and has a blue silk ribbon which is tied through the board. The board edges are gilt. In the rare original dustwrapper of thin tracing type paper with black lettering to the front panel stating 'With best wishes'. Neat gift inscription, dated November 1891, to the reverse of the half title page and previous owner name on the title. Floral printed endpapers. All edges gilt. Corners rounded. A few very minor chips to the edge but overall a remarkable survivor with the original wrapper. ---- The book is not dated but the British Library catalogue lists a date of 1884.
