Revised and reset edition. 8vo.(7.9 x 5.3 inches). A very good copy finely bound in mid twentieth century full tan morocco leather binding by Frank Vaughan, son of Frederick Vaughan, Royal Bookbinder at Windsor Castle until 1914. Spine with raised bands, the compartments ruled in blind with square and cross design, and tooled in gilt to the centres. Blind and gilt ruled line borders on board boards around lattice panels with gilt tooling. All edges gilt. Double blind ruled border on the turn-ins. Previous owner name, address and date (1943) has been neatly crossed through on blank free endpaper, and a few light spots to a dozen or so leaves, but just to the blank margins, otherwise a very good copy. A little fading to the spine but overall a very good and attractive presentation of this translation.
